The Haworth Band

Situated in the picturesque Pennine village of Haworth in West Yorkshire - home to the literary Brontë family and the Railway Children, the Haworth Band is a long-established and celebrated brass band.

Heather Haykin ❤

It is with great sadness that the band announces the passing of Heather Haykin on 13 February 2025. Heather was our principal E-Flat bass player and joined the band in 1974.
As well as being a great player, Heather was a fine friend to all band members and could be relied upon for wise advice in any situation. She will be missed by members of Haworth Band and everyone else who knew her.
All members wish to pass on their condolences to Bill and the family.
