The Haworth Band
Haworth Village Hall
The Haworth Band is a long-established and celebrated brass band situated in the picturesque Pennine village of Haworth in West Yorkshire - home to the literary 'Bronte' family and the Railway Children..
The Haworth Band strives to serve the local community and to provide a forum for musicians of any age who enjoy playing music in an ensemble. We endeavour to encourage the development of new players and provide instruments and musical tuition.
We rehearse on Monday evenings in our newly refurbished band room in the Haworth Village Hall - 7:45pm start.
The Haworth Band is a registered charity dedicated to developing musical skills to ensure the longevity of a brass-band tradition in the community - Charity Reg.No. 511250
A few year ago our numbers dropped to handful of players. More recently the band has been expanding again with new players joining us but we still have some vacancies. We are currently looking for a drummer/percussionist, b flat bass players and front and back row cornets. If you have not played for a few years and fancy coming back to it or if you are new to the area, please get in touch. We welcome players of all ability.
